3 South Florida Artists,

Megan Rebecca, Ozny NewEra & Pyroz Playground

came together to create

​

ELECTRIC CADENZA

​

When Megan Rebecca, a classically trained Vocalist, Pianist, Songwriter and Electronic Music Artist, was approached by Conundrum Stages, a longtime organizer of amazing events in the Ft. Lauderdale for over a decade, to put on an event in one month, she approached long-time friend and fellow Artist, Ozny NewEra, to help come up with a concept.

After a quick, but intense, brainstorming session, it was obvious what needed to be done. They decided they needed to take their favorite music, and put it together with their favorite sounds.

​

They'd created a stunning audio/visual experience with live performances over a DJ Set of the best renditions they could muster of the best music they could choose from the best planet in the best galaxy (MILKY WAY REPRESENT!) ever, and simultaneously take the opportunity to teach the audience, not only about the History of the Music, and their Great Composers, but also the more Modern History of Electronic Music.

BRILLIANT!

...But how could they fill 90 minutes worth of Music in less than a month? And do it justice?

​

That's when Ozny NewEra had the best idea, to call on his longtime friend, Miami's best kept secret in Electronic Music Production, who's also legitimately musically inclined, the INSANELY talented and versatile Pyroz Playground. He accepted.

It wasn't lost on them that there are probably groups of people who would say Producing Classical Music into Electronica is in bad taste... But they cited Bruno from the classic film Fame when he said,

"Mozart wouldn't do this today.

He'd just plug his keyboard into an amp

and he'd have string quartets coming out of his fingers,

and symphonies!"

Less than a month later, against all odds, the 3 prepared not only enough music, but all the visuals, this website, and other promo materials on schedule; all while still taking care of matters in their personal lives. The love of music and the desire to make something GREAT by the 3 cannot be overstated here.

"The first show : December 27th, 2025 at 7PM at Empire Stage in Ft. Lauderdale is a product of a lot of love.

Love for Music, Love for Art, Love for Sound, Love of People, Love of Culture and Love of Divine Order found in Apparent Chaos. Faith and Determination brought this Project to Fruition and we plan to make that show the First of MANY like it. The 1st Electric Cadenza full length LP album will be out soon as well, hopefully before the show but I can't make any promises because it may take a bit more time for the digital distributer to make it available."-Ozny NewEra
